Q Laboratories’ CEO Jeffrey Rowe and COO David Goins were on hand April 19 at historic Cincinnati Music Hall to accept the James A. Wuenker Growth Award presented by The Regional Economic Development Initiative (REDI) Cincinnati. The REDI Growth Award selection committee reviewed 86 projects submitted for the award, but only four were chosen for this prestigious honor.

According to the REDI Cincinnati BLOG, “In 2016, REDI Cincinnati created the James A. Wuenker Growth Awards to honor the economic developer who helped drive large projects that continue to anchor the regional business community today. Each year at its annual meeting, REDI presents the award to local companies nominated by their local economic development entity as having made significant impact on job growth and capital investment throughout the region.”

Q Laboratories is proud to receive this award as we prepare to celebrate the grand opening of our newly-constructed 30,000 sq.ft. laboratory facility on the West Side of Cincinnati. This construction combined with two adjacent buildings purchased by the company will more than double Q Laboratories’ operating space from 25,000 sq.ft. to 55,000 sq.ft.  and allow for hiring of additional staff.  This will position the microbiology and analytical chemistry laboratory services firm to continue on the steep growth curve we have enjoyed over the past 15 years.
